W810i: Walkman Mobile Phone
After a succession of Nokia phones I decided to plump for the W810i as my new phone. It has some fantastic features, but in some respects isn't as easy to use as my old Nokia.
I'm not exactly regretting buying this phone, though there are times when I miss the simplicity of my old Nokia. Maybe it's just familiarity though, so I'm happy to persevere with this new technology.
On the plus side, the phone's extras are brilliant - the MP3 player sounds great, and changing the media cards is very simple thanks to the slot conveniently mounted on the side of the phone; with my old mobile you had to open it up to get the XD card out, whereas the Sony's Duo Pro Memory Stick is hidden behind a rather flimsy cover on the side of the phone.
I do love the sound quality of it, and the picture quality of the built in camera.
I've bought a few accessories for it, namely a base station which came with leads to connect it to my stereo, and a car charger. Both work fine and ensure that the phone's always charged.
I'm sure that once I get used to doing things slightly differently, I'll be perfectly happy with it.
